The journey / so far
From Conroe to Beaumont.
He left Conroe High School ranked 23rd in the nation in the 300m hurdles — Texas All-State First Team, MileSplit All-National First Team, and Varsity Track Athlete of the Year, carrying a 4.1 GPA to a full academic and athletic ride.
At Lamar, the distance stretched and the hurdles rose. He answered by winning the 400m in his collegiate debut and finishing his freshman year as the 32nd-ranked US college freshman in the 400m hurdles.
